Reflection
The purpose of this project was to learn about chromosomes and work as a class. I met this expectation by working with the class to complete the movie and by learning what a chromosome is. The class as a whole succeeded in my opinion because we finished the movie and each of us could decently explain what a chromosome is. I feel this project was a success.
I feel this project went well. I personally feel accomplished with helping the other students with little bits and pieces, filling in the cracks. I feel as a class we did very well with our acting, I say this because none of us are actors. I feel we did a good job.
I feel there were difficulties that could have been avoided in this project. A difficulty I felt was my lack of sleep. A problem the whole class felt was the divide during the brainstorming of the movie between storyboarders and script writers, which resulted in a restorative justice circle. I feel that in the future problems similar to these could be avoided by thinking clearly or ahead. The collaboration in this project looked like when the storyboarders came together and started making the outlines of the characters, which I collaborated in.
If I or someone else were to do this project again these would be the things to take note of. It is not wise to split your peers into groups, it leads to aggression when things go wrong and it makes it easier to de humanise your peers when you can just call them “The Script Writers”. I would also advise that the time frame be longer or that kids would not take it so lightly in the beginning, seeing as that there will be other projects in other classes that may require focus later. Something I feel should stay the same is making a movie, it teaches lots of skills that can be used in other things and provides a nice taste test to the world of film. I feel that hindsight is a great tool for future predictions.

The below video in the movie we produced. I personally find it quite funny.
